the city of Köln, the namesake for Kölsch,
this style of beer is protected by German Federal law
and can only be brewed in the city of Köln and
outlying areas. Brewed since the 1300's, this top-fermenting
ale is even lighter in color than pilsner, has a slightly
malty palate and a strong hop finish. 27 IBU, 5.0%
ABV

black beer, made by a local brewery in Bad Köstritz in the state of Thürigen.
Sumptuous, velvety lager, black, smooth and malty with
